"Mom, can I have some yoguht and gwapes, please? I aweady asked you."
"Oh! Yes, you can, babe. I forgot that I said I'd get you some. I'm sorry," I felt bad for having forgotten my promise.
"It's okay. I forgive you," my son easily replied with a hug.
As I walked into the kitchen to get The Hulk's snack, he followed me in.
"Mom, did you know that I already forgave you? Even before you said sowwy?"
"Hulk, that's so great. Who taught you to forgive so fast?"
"I don't know. I sink it was in my heart."
~~forgive the indulgence. just something I wanted to remember.~~

My little guy has a super forgiving heart. I love it (and him) so much.
oh, that is just too precious! wanted to drop by and say that NOTHING is as good as sitting on a porch waiting for the storm to roll in...the main reason i love kansas!
This wasn't an indulgence at all. I wish more people would post about the wonderful things our children teach us. He is so sweet.
Amen, Lara.
I'm so glad you wrote about this, I love it. It's important to write these things down. For him, and for all of us to learn from. And it is so the Hulk, he does have the most kind and gentle heart.
