We interrupt this unplanned, unexplained blogging hiatus for a special announcement:
Don't forget the Service Soapbox March of Dimes baby shower tomorrow morning!!!!
It's going to be a fun open-house style party for bloggers and non-bloggers alike, with lots of refreshments and TONS of great door prizes for those who donate something to the charity. It will be from 10AM - 12PM (open house style) at My Noah's in South Jordan (322 West 11000 South).
This is such a great charity. They help to prevent birth defects by educating low income women about how to protect their babies prenatally. Women who successfully participate in the program (by getting prenatal care, quitting smoking, avoiding unhealthy behaviors before and after the birth of the baby, etc.) are offered baby items like diapers, wipes, baby clothes, blankets, and more. We're helping by working to "stock the den" with baby items.
I'll be there with Miss Marvel. She's perfectly adorable and if you're really nice, I'll let you hold her. Plus, there's seriously like a million door prizes. If I didn't think this was such a great cause, I'd just keep all this info to myself and increase my chances of scoring some swag. But this IS a good cause, and there's so many door prizes that I'll probably still win something. Sa-WEET!
On an unrelated note: how do you moms with more than two kids go anywhere? I've gone a few places with all three when it can't be avoided. It's not an experience I'm eager to repeat. But that means I sit in the house all day while the kids and I slowly drive each other crazy. I confess that one of the reasons I'm so excited about the thing tomorrow is the fact that I'll LEAVE THE HOUSE with only ONE CHILD. And there will be ADULT INTERACTION.
These things are all very exciting to me. Hence the capital letters.
So if any of those things sound good to you, too, come! Bring a (new) baby item to donate and do some good!
p.s. the awesome Evelyn at The Perks of Life is hosting a rockin' giveaway. I love this girl's style, and that her blog is so real. It's funny, too. She's a new blog friend that I'm totally crushin' on. Go check out her blog and giveaway!

I'll see you tomorrow!
I'll be there too (with cake!!) I can't wait to see you and your snuggly baby again!
I don't know if I can make it....
Thanks for the shout out. And it gets easier. Really it does. But for the first couple of months it's hard. Summer will make things easier too.
hence blogthedayaways hiatus- we all jumped from two to three within a few months of each other and found out that television, blogging, and everything else we love to do, takes a backseat to mere survival! I've learned to love online grocery stores and early morning trips to target, sans kids.
Thanks so much for the bloggy love Wonder Woman! Good luck!
