I have no idea what my "word" for 2010 would be.
Probably something like "survive."
Or "savor."
But I know what my word for today is: MAINTAIN.
Superman was the best husband ever this weekend and we totally cleaned the house. We deep cleaned all the bedrooms, took boxes to DI, and even cleaned off the desk! We moved the twin bed back to the big bedroom that the boys are officially sharing. We were going to set up the crib in the baby's room, but decided to wait. We might get a new one, and we're probably going to paint (yay!) before we set it up.
So right now, my house practically sparkles. I need to do a load of laundry and some dishes, but that's about all the work my house even needs right now. It's glorious.
So for today: MAINTAIN.
p.s. I had never heard the song "Aubrey" by Bread. I youtubed it last night. Quite coincidental that it talks about her dancing!!

There are so many good, varied words out there!
I think my house is the exact opposite of yours right now. Sigh.
Oh I need to maintain my house as well. That and deep clean the office out. But here I sit... I like the word maintain!
yep. Here I sit. Hmmm. Motivation may be a better word for me, this year.
It's a great feeling isn't it? I'm glad Levi was able to help you so much. New crib AND new paint? That will be so fun!!! You can do it, you can maintain. I love you.
i just youtubed "Aubrey" such a beautiful song.
and love all the glee songs!!!
I'm glad you liked the song, especially after the hard time I gave you about "Maggie May". "Aubrey" I always liked and thought was so pretty. Ironic, though, that they are both 70's songs, huh?
I love that feeling when you deep clean, organize and sparkalize your house! I never want anyone to ever even BREATHE for fear they'll mess it up.
Maintain is a great word
Hooray for sparkly houses! Hmmm... sounds like something I SHOULD be working towards but instead, I'm sitting on the computer, being lazy. =)
Maintaining is good.
Don't you wish your house could sparkle for longer than 10 minutes after it is perfectly clean? I do like the word maintain.
'Maintain' is good. Sounds tiring but it's good nonetheless. You've got a lot on your plate right now.
