Snow frosts the ground
I sit at my computer, listening
I hear
children playing and laughing
dogs running from the children
husband snoring softly on the couch
my favorite sounds of the season
in song and otherwise
Snow frosts the ground
I sit at my computer, reading
I read
Stephanie
inspiration
Snow frosts the ground
I sit at my computer, feeling
I feel
sorrow
gratitude
my heart breaking
my heart expanding
my baby moving
Snow frosts the ground
I sit at my computer, thinking
I think
I love that my boys are best friends
I don't mind my sweet girl kicking me in the ribs and hip bones
She's my girl
I am so blessed
So very, very blessed
Snow frosts the ground
Love warms me

That was very nice. I definitely need to get to Pandora more often. And I wonder how I will feel if I find out this one is a girl, since I have two boys?
This was a beautiful post! I am stopping over from Lolli's blog reads tonight. Nice to meet you. I don't think I have ever been here before. I love that you love your family so much. Very sweet!
It's those small moments that make our lives so full.
Love this. It's those things that make life sweet.
You are so very blessed Alyssa, and I'm blessed for knowing you. :)
What a beautiful peaceful picture you paint of your world. You are blessed, and just like Kiera said, we ARE very blessed to know you.
Your poem is so touching. I think you should print it out and put it somewhere for all your family to see how much they are loved by you. The way you portray a mother's natural love for her unborn child is so tender and sweet. As mother's whether our babies are now 2 or 42, we can all relate to those feelings of purest love for the child we carried in our womb.
love your blog:)
Keep posting stuff like this i really like it
