Inquiring minds wants to know.......

How many cell minutes do you use a month?

What kind of plan do you have?

Do you have a landline? Family and Friends?

Are the people you talk to most with the same carrier?

(Superman and I are trying to figure out if I talk too much, or need more minutes)

I have a T mobile cell account. 1000 minutes for about 45 dollars. I pretty much use my minutes up in about a month. I've always liked it. We've been with T mobile for about 3 or 4 years now.
I also have a landline too.
There are free weekend minutes which I love.
My MIL has free night minutes after 9 PM. I think she is with Alltel.
Hope this helps!

My wish right now is for a blackberry. MY dream...AHHH! :)

I don't use my phone much except when Parker is in the hospital or for calls from doctor's offices.

We do have a land line.

Not much help, eh? :D

I only have a pre-paid cell phone and just got it this summer for traveling. We have a land line with unlimited calling to anyone in the US (I think). Since I am home most of the time that works for us. In the 6 weeks since I have been back home I have only had to use my cell phone once when I was out and about. My kids know to call me on my home phone and we use IM a lot too. When we moved here 5 1/2 years and I got rid of my cell phone I thought that I would miss it a lot more than I do. Probably not much help if you are needing more cell phone minutes ;)

We have a landline and I am not sure what the cell service is, but it is expensive due to Dr. hubby's needs...I just reap the benefits! And I am positive you are not talking too much...you need more minutes!{wink wink}

I never use all of my minutes but it is probably because my kids don't want to talk to me. I have a habit of saying I told you so or what did I say or my favorite, because I said so. . Actually we e all have the same cell phone provider. We do not have land line.A line just for the internet.

Between both me and Scott we use around 500-600 minutes a month.

We have a family plan with 1000 minutes, unlimited text and picture messaging, and the usual free nights and weekends plus mobile-to-mobile, all for around $95 with tax.

We do not have a landline b/c we don't see the point of paying extra when we both own cell phones.

And the people I talk to the most (Scott and my mom) are with my carrier.

Hope that helps.

We are in NJ and have ATT Wireless. IT STINKS. We share 700 minutes and have free mobile to mobile--but most of my friends have Verizon!!

We have AT&T and a land-line, too. I don't know how many minutes I use per month on my cel, but I know I don't go over my limit or even close.

My life changed a few months ago when I got an Iphone. I can now text and blog-read/comment in between running errands, while in line @ the grocery store, etc. I feel in touch and connected and it's great!

We have Verizon. Some people love it, and others hate it. But we have tried at least 4 others plans, and this one works the best for us. We have 2500 (or is it 3000?) minutes, due to my husband's occupation (real estate) and calling (bishop), plus basically two teenagers at home. So we need AMPLE minutes, without having to worry about limiting how much time he uses. (We limit the kids). We also use the Friends and Family program that Verizon has. I would say about 75% of the people we talk to are with the same carrier, judged on how difficult it was to find someone to put on Friends and Family that wasn't a Verizon customer. We have always had good customer service, and have always been good to work with when we were due an upgrade or had an "accident" with out phones.
Hope this helps!

I have AT&T. We pay $68.00 a month for one line with 750ish minutes, 200 text, and unlimited data/web. No one else I know is on AT&T, but I rarely talk on my cell unless I'm out and about someone REALLY, REALLY, needs to talk to me. So I never go over my minutes. I do have a land line which I recently just bundled w/ my cable and internet which is through comcast. It's the same as Vonage (which is what I had before), unlimited nation wide calling and unlimited calling to Canada. Only now I'm saving $25.oo a month.

I learned VERY quickly after we got married that having ONLY cell phones was a bad idea. So we got rid of cell phones all together and let me tell you that was the most liberating two years of my life! But then the iPhone came out and I HAD to have it. We agreed before hand however, that only certain people would be lucky enough to get the number to our cell and our families were warned and put on a strict "Do NOT call the cell unless it's an emergency" plan. It's worked GREAT for the last two years!

My advice, since you have kids and babysitter's need to be able to get a hold of you etc. either get a pre paid cell or the cheapest cell plan you can find and then get Vonage or something like it that will only cost you $30.oo a month. Then when you are home you can call home as much as you want and you don't have to worry about going over your minutes.

Besides do you REALLY need to be chatting with your Mom, your hubby, or your BFF while wandering the isles of the store? I know I don't! I all ready got enough going on in my head!

I don't go over my minutes, but only because I call people on my plan, i.e. husband, child. My parents aren't on the same plan, so I do rack up the minutes there. I have an iPhone and LOVE it! We have a pretty generous plan, but I'd burn through the minutes in a hurry if I didn't have mobile to mobile. Good luck!!!

Hmm. I don't know how many minutes we use a month.

We use AT&T, my husband has a BlackBerry with internet and email(reimbursed by his work.) I have unlimited text, and internet (since we found out we got a huge discount). We pay around $60 a month total.

No landline, we never used it so we cut it off. We use the "pick 5 numbers to call for free" and that covers most of our family since some use our same service.

Hope that answers some of your questions!

Verizon. Unlimited verizon to verizon. Top 10 other numbers free and unlimited texting.

Best.Service.evah!

Don't even ask me how much we pay, we get a discount through my employer but to be honest, I never even open the bills. Splenda does it all

I wont be of help then. For the last three years I've had a prepaid cell through T-Mobile. I upload $100=1000 minutes whenever I need them which is maybe once or twice a year.

Just this year we got my hubby the same deal. Since we're both on prepaid we have no fringes and we're ok with that.

I really just dont use my phone terribly much. We have a lan line (or actually a VOP or whatever it's called since it's through our fiber optic carrier).

We're on a family plan with my parents, since neither Stephen or I talk that much on our phones. I don't even begin to know how many minutes I use, but most of mine are for people on the Verizon network so they're always free.
