I just love it.

Speaking of being pregnant..........I've started feeling the baby move! It's just the best. Especially since I haven't really felt pregnant. I've barely been sick. (Please don't hate me.) And while I definitely look pregnant, I haven't gained much weight. (Again, don't hate me.) It was the same with Spiderman and the Hulk, though I was a bit sicker with them than this one. My body just handles pregnancy well, I guess. I almost wanted to be sicker this time because "they" say you're sicker with girls.
My ultrasound was scheduled for this next Monday, but a couple of days ago I got a call from my doctor's office, saying that the ultrasound tech had a family emergency come up and wasn't going to be in the office all week. Could they push back the appointment?
Well, what could I say? No? So now I'm waiting an extra week. And I'm trying really hard not to be bitter about it. It just gives you more time to guess if it's a boy or a girl!
Some helpful hints:
- I craved fruit the entire first trimester
- Hardly sick
- Healthier skin
- Carried low with both boys, but I think it's too early to tell if I'm carrying high this time. But I've been visibly pregnant for over a month.
- Spiderman and the Hulk talk about having a baby sister all the time, and I have been very careful not to mention gender on my own.

The sun is shining today. We've officially entered fall, and sunshine makes all the difference. Cloudy and 55 is much colder than sunshine and 55. And the sun is shining today. Makes me very happy.
I'm still going to make soup for dinner tonight, though. A friend and I got together this week and did some dinner/freezer prep. I have the makings for homemade chicken noodle soup sitting in my freezer. And it lasts such a long time that I might not have to cook till Sunday dinner. Especially since Superman's not the biggest fan of homemade noodles. (He may be a zombie expert, but he's just about the pickiest eater ever.) But he gets free lunches on Friday at work, so he won't be too hungry tonight.
It's a fool proof plan, really.

gLee is rockin' my face off. Does anyone else find themselves singing along without realizing it? Last week's episode with Kristin Chenowith was fantastic. I loved the version of "Alone" she did. (I even found a version of "Witchy Woman" she sang for my halloween playlist. HIghly appropriate, no?!) I tried to make a playlist with gLee music, but it's not possible. I guess they're only doing it on iTunes for the time being. (I'm just thisclose to breaking down and getting an iTunes account because of it.) But I was able to find videos on playlist.com. I got quite a few video clips of the songs. I put the playlist at the bottom of my blog, but for someone reason, only one video ever transfers with the code. "Don't Stop Believin'" is all I can get. We've listened to that song so much that Spiderman sings along.
It's actually really cute. He'll sing, "Don't stop believing! / On and on and on and on and on / Follow the prophet / Follow the prophet / Follow the prophet / Don't go away / On and on and on and on!"
The boy loves to sing, we just need to work on keeping the song straight.
Have you heard "Say Hey!" by Michael Franti? I sang that song really loudly in the car one day and now it's our theme song and Spiderman and I sing it back and forth all day long.
He knows all the chorus and will just start singing the "I love you" part at random times during the day. Or "Hey mama! Hey mama!" It cracks me up and I love it. I wish I could record it. I probably could on my phone....I'll have to do that.

Alright. This post is much more random and rambly than my usual Friday posts. But for some reason it's been a long time since I've done random Friday post and I'm a bit out of practice. I'm not gonna list 10 random tunes because I've already talked about music and I don't have any new music to share. If you really want to see what's on my playlist, it's right up there. Be sure to click the "random" button -- I think it's the twisty arrows one. Kinda breaking Motherboard's rules, but I think she's okay with that.
Have a marvy weekend! Enjoy fall wherever you are!!

Glee this week was the first episode I absolutely loved and thought finally lived up to the hype.
My DVR didn't record The Office last night, so I'll have to watch it online tonight!
I love Glee, and I love the musical numbers. I've seen criticism that the musical numbers are too over the top and not realistic, but that's what makes it so fun! It's super cheesy, and I love it.
I'm a total Gleek. TOTAL! I love every minute of it and sing my lungs out!
Oh to be young again! ;->

gLee is so much fun! I really enjoy it and I'm not much of a TV person!
Speaking of random singing (how was that for a segue?) my son randomly will burst out in song to Abba....that is frighteningly funny!
yay for feeling that baby moving! i love that part of pregnancy.
i'm so glad that you have been feeling well.
love homemade noodles- that's the only way i can make chicken noodle soup. love those!!
enjoy your 55 degree weather for me, won't you? it's a little warm here today.
and for fun, listen to say hey while the cranberries are rockin' zombie in the background. interesting mix.
have a great weekend!!
My husband and I both love The Office and Glee. Apparently, Great Clips (at least down south) has fridge magnets of ALL of the characters. (One magnet per character.) We are tempted to go in and get one of our kids' hair cut so we can stock up on all of them. They are awesome!
I haven't really gotten into The Office or Glee. But check out Cougar Town on Wednesdays. (If it comes on on top of your fave programming, just DVR it or if you are poor like me, check hulu.com. It is so funny. And it has Courtney Cox Arquette in it and she is hilarious! Have a happy weekend!
I cried too and I'm not pregnant. I just love them. And the spin on the youtube video was priceless. Loved every minute and I'm also loving Glee.
I don't think it's true the old wifes tale about being alot more sick with girls. I wasn't sick at all I only had mind spliting mirgraines.
The office was truly the best episode ever!
My third pregnancy, I was SURE was a girl. The whole thing from start to finish was completely different. We were convinced. We didnt even want to know from the ultrasound, we were that sure.
And then when I delivered, and the doctor starting singing My Three Sons....well, let's just say, we were a little surprised.
I have not watched Glee! But I love me some OFFICE! It was a good episode I might watch it again tonight or tomorrow. I am going to post an awesome soup recipe soon, because I have to type it up for a friend.
I LOVE GLEE!!! (and if you want the songs, e-mail me :) ) I also saw the offce wedding and LOVED it... but Glee is by far my favorite new show (How I Met Your Mother is my ALL TIME fave show in general)
office on dvd gets me through feeding the baby at 2am...love it
I just watched The Office -Wedding-I know it was so Great!! I got a little teary eyed and I loved their spoof on that viral video =D.
I haven't gotten into Glee too much but,it does look interesting-I love Kristen Chenoweth!
Oh and I hadn't heard that song -"Say hey" before -But, I listened to it now and really like it! Thinking I'm gonna have to add a new playlist soon -including that 1Hope you have a good weekend too :)
I am loving glee. John. . . not so much.
Just for the record I didn't get or feel a bit sick with any of my 4 pregnancies. I had 2 girls then 2 boys and couldn't tell the difference with carrying them either. At least you get to have an ultrasound to find out what the sex is...I had an ultrasound twice (not twice with each baby but once for 2 of my pregnancies) but they weren't allowed to tell me what gender the baby was. I guess you find out what it is when it is born. Plus I have a niece who had 5 boys and they told her number 6 was a girl. WRONG...he was a boy. Now she is preggo with #7 and they say this one is a girl. We shall see later this month!!
I still need to watch glee on hulu. No dvr here *sigh*
It's Broadview!! I (almost) wish I had kids to take trick-o-treating there, it's so awesome. It was even on the news last night, because they are upping security to make it more safe. But we'll have some of them ourselves, so I wouldn't want to deprive them of my awesome candy!! :)
Awesome that you're showing already. Awesomer that you feel good.
I love gLee (but watch it in secret because it makes me feel guilty), all that music just makes me want to sing.
hey gorgeous! i had to get back in the blog scene... i missed everyone too much!
i am glad your pregnancy is going good!!!! feeling your baby moving around in there is amazing isn't it?!?!?!
I adored the Office wedding too, it was so cute and hilarious, definitely one of the funniest in a long time!
Ohhh that must be driving you nuts to wait longer to find out what you're having! That doctor's visit just always takes forever to get there and I have the hardest time waiting. Good luck!!!
