She

Click on this link. It'll take you to a song by Cherie Call called "She."

(I'm experiencing technical difficulties today. They player they had would only play 30 seconds of the song, so you get a link. If it replaces my window, you can come back and read the rest of the message, or just know that I love you and call it good!)

Go ahead. Play the song. Well, get a tissue first. Then hit play. And listen.

(This is the song I sang for our RS birthday dinner a few months ago. I compiled pictures of most the women in the ward into a slideshow for this song. I struggled to get through it. It would be just as challenging for me to sing this song with all your pictures in front of me.)

I hope you know that I think you are amazing. You don't have to be perfect. Just try a little harder to be a little better every day. Heaven is smiling above you. I love you.

What you do MATTERS. God has trusted you (or will trust you) with his precious children. He'll help you.

Through all the ups and downs of motherhood,

it's still the greatest work on earth.

Nothing you do will ever matter more.

Have a marvelous Mother's Day, my friends.

Wow, how did you get through that song?

Thanks. Perfect song for today. Being a Mom is our most important calling, you're right. I know so many women that hate this day for various reasons. Makes me sad.

Hope you have a Happy Mother's Day too!

Thank you, I needed this post. I haven't been feeling very good about my role as "mother" lately. This song, as well as "What Heaven Sees in You", reminds that Heavenly Father is aware of me and he knows my struggles, and that I am not alone.

I love that song. I bet that was so hard to get through that song seeing picture of women that you know and care about.

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.

I've heard this song before, but haven't listened to it for a few years. I really should've read your post last Sunday. But, I still needed it just as much today.
Thanks for uplifting me, and making me bawl like a little baby.

Hi there-
I went a blog-hoppin' and I found yours thru a comment you made on Laughing at L.L.W.'s
I came across this song about 5 years ago, and it is one of my favorites. That and a few other songs from "Women of Destiny" really inspired me to practice sing and piano playing more; something that I really love to do. In the last year or so I have been hiding my talent under a bushel, and this post insprires me to get back into it.
Thank you!
