I just have to record my happiness right now!
Last night I stayed up WAY too late, but I was making scrapbook pages for a swap I'm doing tomorrow. They turned out so cute! It's exciting, finally feeling like I have cute pages to share.
Tonight, I'm going on a date with Superman! I've got a sitter, and we're going to dinner and a movie. Fancy schmancy, right? Almost - we're going to Del Taco and the dollar theater, but I don't care! The Dark Knight is finally at the dollar theater, and we both really want to see it again. And I've only been to Del Taco once and am surprised at how good it is for the money. And I don't have to put the kids to bed!! So I'm pumped about that.
Tomorrow's payday, so I get to go grocery shopping WITHOUT KIDS since it's Saturday!!! Hip hip hooray for husbands that would rather stay home with the kids than go shopping!
But the thing I'm MOST excited about is next Saturday. First of all, I'll be going to lunch with bloggers! Frumpy's coming to visit her parents and has gathered some local bloggers - we're all "meeting" for the first time. I'm so excited I can barely stand it. After lunch, I'm hosting a shoe party. I really hope I'll get a good turn out, but I'll get a free pair of shoes even if I don't. So YAY for free shoes!
THEN I get to go to TWILIGHT!! For FREE!!! One of my friends got tickets for her birthday and invited me!! She's a friend from college who I absolutely adore, even more so now that she's taking me to TWILIGHT!!
But the very best thing about all this is Superman. He'll have the kids all morning, then have to take them somewhere during the shoe party, then just an hour after it's over, I'll be leaving for Twilight. That's a LONG day with the kids. And he didn't even pout about it! Just said, "Sure. That'd be fine - no problem!"
I'VE GOT THE BEST HUSBAND EVER!! And tonight's going to be the best DATE ever!! And next Saturday's going to be the best ALL ABOUT WONDER WOMAN day ever!!!

Okay, I'm done gushing. I don't get to do this very ofter, so I just decided to go with it. What are YOU excited about? If you can't think of anything, come up with something! Get a sitter and go to a cheap movie tonight! Or rent a movie you can watch with your kids and have a slumber party! Or go check out a really good book!
Find something to get happy about!!

Yeah, I need a sitter too!! Chris and I need to go on the BEST DATE EVER, so that you aren't the only ones having all the HAPPINESS!! But I hope that you'll have a great date tonight and a GREAT WONDER WOMAN DAY NEXT SATURDAY. And I'm glad that your husband is so WILLING To be with the kids ALL DAY -- Just about.

Lucky! I enjoy those days without the baby too! Refreshing. A few weeks ago my mother-in-law took G all week..I didn't know what to do with myself..it was a little too long, but I enjoy a day or two. I use to go Scrapbooking at the store every Friday night..it was my little get away! I miss it. Have a blast for me too K! I agree..you should post pics of the scrapbook pages you made! I enjoy reading your blog. Your kids are getting so big! I saw your brother and his little fam last weekend..so cute!

I'm excited to go see Into the Woods tonight with Motherboard while the kids stay home with Dad, and tomorrow I get to go out to dinner with my hubby and friends!!
I am excited about next weekend too. I am throwing my own Twilight birthday party and we are going to see the movie. My hubby is flying my lil sis in to go with me. Can't wait!

I love cheap theaters, but I've never been to Del Taco. Oh wait - I think I went once when I was in college. Or maybe it was another taco place. I'm not really sure now. And I didn't know that you could have a shoe party. And how do I get my friend to pay for my Twilight tickets? And just typing the words "I have a date with Superman" should make anyone happy (especially if you're feeling especially Lois Lane-ish, or if your date can actually fly. Although, the tights....um, not so much excitement there. I hope your husband wore jeans.)
I'm excited that it's the weekend. I'm happy that I get to meet you and frump and sher and motherboard and whoever else is going to be here! (I'm already pals with Binders. Be prepared to laugh your head off with her around).

I'm having dreams about Twilight! I'm so excited for next weekend and tonight I get to go on a date with my hubby as well. We are going to Quantum of Solace and I'm not sure who I'm more into...Daniel Craig as James Bond or Edward Cullen!!!! (or my husband...I guess. haha) Either way, I'm going out with my favorite man tonight and I have two weekends of hotties to look forward to. YAY!!!!!
I was looking thru a bunch of Blogs tonight and came across this one. HAVE to smile and laugh! I remember these days you are describing. Thanks for taking me down memory lane! My daughters got me into the Twlight books and i loved them. I get to enjoy going to the movie with both of them and can't wait! Unfortunately, I get to pay for all three tickets, LOL, but that's okay! Thanks for sharing your excitment with us!
