Whenever I ask the Hulk to look for something, he immediately puts on his looking glasses.
It's pretty cute. He tries to find whatever it is with his "glasses" on, but is usually unsuccessful. While the glasses are cute, I think I'm going to make him stop using them to look for things.Because THIS might happen when he's older:
Superman and I rented a movie last night. He put it in the DVD player, then proceeded to look for the remote.
S: "Babe, where's the DVD remote?"
S: "Babe, where's the DVD remote?"
WW: "Should be over in the remote holder."
S: "It's not over here."
He continues to look for the remote. Checks the entertainment unit, couch cushions, end table......
S: "If we can't find the remote, we can't watch the movie."
WW: "I have faith in your ability to find the remote."
The search continues, to no avail.
S: "I'm missing the previews!" (Usually Superman's favorite part of any movie.)
WW: "Okay! I'll help you find it. It can't have gone far."
I get up, look under the couches, then check the remote control holder, just in case.
WW: "Superman, would you come over here for a moment? Just look inside and tell me what you see."
Yep, you guessed it.
The remote control.

of course. but I would not even suprised if in my house chad was holding it and asking me where it was.
I am totally wired all wrong - because I am queen of giving things the "man look-over," then William comes and finds everything for ME!!!!
Frumpy - I put the word "some" in the title because growing up, my dad could find ANYTHING. I've only learned to find things since being married.
So funny. I think it comes with being the wife and mother, part of the job description?!
That happens here all the time- - even the remote thing exactly as you said it. What is wrong with men, really? It drives me totally TOOOOOOTALLLY crazy.

I mean, seriously, they just do not want to look or they want to look in the right place.
Like I have to play hucka bucka bean stalk and say
warm, cold, warm, hotter, hotter, getting really hot, or your boiling WOOHOO, you found it!

As the ONLY female in this house, let me just say... Male blindness is a REAL condition!!!!!
This has NEVER happened at my house. My husband totally has OCD. He has a place for EVERYTHING. All his shirts hang the same direction in the closet, he won't eat something if it expires today. Yeah, it's crazy. Especially since I'm EXACTLY the opposite.
Now, this scenerio MIGHT happen with my looking for it and not finding it. I lose stuff all the time.
Maybe I'm more like a man....
Oh my. I thought that maybe my spouse was the only that was challenged...
This was funny! I have done this more times than I care to admit... with not only Jefe-- but the kids too! Sheesh!
